耶稣会士南先生，讳光国，号冉宾，泰西弗郎济亚国人。缘慕贞修，弃家遗世，在会二十一年。于康熙三十八年已卯，东来中华，传天主圣教。至康熙四十一年壬午十月十五日，卒于顺天府，年三十八岁。

Tomb of the Jesuit Father Nan Gong

Father Nan, personal name Guangguo, style name Ranbin, was a man from the Kingdom of France. Motivated by a desire for virtuous cultivation, he abandoned his family and worldly life, and spent twenty-one years in the Society of Jesus. In the jimou year of the thirty-eighth year of the Kangxi reign (1699), he came east to China to preach the Holy Catholic Faith.
He died on the fifteenth day of the tenth month in the renwu year of the forty-first year of Kangxi (1702) in Shuntian Prefecture, at the age of thirty-eight.
