    费先生讳隐,号存诚,泰西热尔玛尼亚人。自幼入会真修,于康熙四十九年庚寅入中国传教。于康熙五十年辛卯钦召进京,内廷供奉。卒于乾隆八年癸亥四月十二日,蒙钦赐帮银二百两。在会五十五年,享寿七十岁。

    Tomb of Father Fei of the Society of Jesus
    Father Fei, personal name Yin, style name Cuncheng, a German from West Europe. From a young age he was initiated into the Society of Jesus and cultivated true faith. In the forty-ninth year of the Kangxi reign, gengyan year (1710), he came to China to preach. In the fiftieth year of the Kangxi reign, xinmao year (1711), he was summoned to Beijing, and served the imperial court. He passed away on the twelfth day of the fourth month in the eighth year of the Qianlong reign (1743), and was granted two-hundred taels of silver by the emperor. He was in the Society for fifty-five years, and lived to the age of seventy.

    Father Ehrenbert Fridelli of the Society of Jesus, a German, having professed of four vows, came into China in the year 1705, where with many labors having been performed on behalf of the glory of God, he died in Beijing in the Lord, on the fourth day of June in the year of Christ 1743, of the age seventy and of the society having been entered fifty-five years ago.
