庞先生，讳嘉宾，号慕斋，系泰西热尔玛尼亚国人也。自幼入会精修。于康熙三十六年岁次丁丑入中华传教，卒于康熙四十八年己丑岁十月初八日，年四十五岁，在会二十九年。

Tomb of Jesuit Father Pang

Father Pang, given name Jiabin, style name Muzhai, was a man from Germania of the Far West. From a young age, he entered the Society (of Jesus) and embraced its rigorous formation. In the 36t^h year of the Kangxi reign (the year 1697), he came to China to preach, passing away on the 8t^h day of the tenth lunar month of the 48t^h year of the Kangxi Reign (November 9t^h, 1709). At that time, he was forty-five years old, and had been in the Society (of Jesus) for twenty-nine years.
