孙先生讳觉人，号释音，江南常熟县人。年二十八岁入会真修。乾隆十六年五月内进京传教，本年十一月十五日去世，年三十七岁，在会九年。

Tomb of Father Sun of the Society of Jesus

Father Sun, personal name Jueren, style name Shiyin, a native of Changshu in Jiangnan. At the age of twenty-eight he was initiated into the Society and cultivated true faith. In the fifth month in the sixteenth year of the Qianlong reign he came to Beijing to preach, and passed away in the same year on the fifteenth day of the eleventh month, at the age of thirty-seven, and was in the Society for nine years.
